The College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) at DePaul University
invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, assistant professor
position in one of the most comprehensive and fastest-growing Cybersecurity
programs in the country. Located in the heart of Chicago’s Loop, our
Cybersecurity Program touches on all aspects of security: organizational,
networking, and software development. The program enjoys strong interaction
and collaboration with the other programs in the School of Computing,
including Information Systems, Networking and Computer Science. There are
currently 300 students enrolled in the Cybersecurity BS and MS degree
programs. DePaul University is a NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence in
Information Assurance Education.

*Required Qualifications*
Candidates for the position will have experience and interest in
Cybersecurity, with specific expertise and leadership in Governance, Risk
and Compliance (GRC). We are particularly interested in those with
specializations in audit, compliance, IT governance, risk management,
regulation and information security management. Job responsibilities
include teaching, continued scholarship in the field and active involvement
in the future development of the Cybersecurity program. Position begins in
Fall of 2018. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and
experience. Any terminal degree will be considered with an appropriate
focus on cybersecurity. Candidates must show strong commitment and be
willing to work in a diverse urban environment.
