Dear colleagues, it is our pleasure to invite you to submit papers to 9th Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems - EATIS 2018 – which will be held in Paris (France) on 22-25th May 2018.

EATIS.org is focused on the communities, contents and technologies belonging to smart cities. In particular, EATIS 2018 encourages the use of Information System (IS), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Telematics Systems, making it easier for citizens to access government and public services at various levels, without any adverse impact on ethic aspects.

EATIS 2018 TOPICS OF INTEREST: areas of interest include but are not limited to the following topics:

- Big Data (Data Science and Analysis, Open Data)
- Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
- Human-Computer Interaction
- E-health;
- Intelligent Transportation Systems - ITS
- Internet of Things – IoT (Middleware, Applications)
- Methodologies for the use of Information and Communication Technologies in Teaching or Education
- Mobile Computing and Applications
- Web Architecture and Web Technologies and Society
- Web-based Systems and Web Semantic 

IMPORTANT DEADLINES
- Submission of tutorial proposals: 24th November 2017;
- Submission of short and full papers: 22th of January 2017;
- Notification of acceptance: 31th January 2018;
- Conference days: 22-25th May 2018

PAPER SUBMISSION
We kindly ask for submissions of high-quality full papers reporting original and novel research results on all above topics. All submitted papers will be blinded and peer-reviewed. Papers may be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese, unpublished and not submitted elsewhere. Critical parameters will include originality, significance, relevance, technical soundness, and language clarity for (i) short papers(with max 5 pages) and (ii) full papers (with max 8 pages). Short papers will be presented in the Panel/Poster Sessions in English. Full papers will be presented in Oral Sessions. Short and full papers will be presented only in English. Papers written in Spanish or Portuguese must have abstract, title and keywords in English. 

QUALITY CLASSIFICATION FOR EATIS.org CONFERENCES
All former accepted papers had been published in the ACM Digital Library and IEEE Xplore Digital Library. EATIS.org conferences was recognized by the Computing Research & Education (CORE) - with C classification, and by the Brazilian CAPES agency - with the Qualis B3 classification.

PUBLICATIONS

As former editions, EATIS 2018 papers will be published with ISBN and indexed by the IEEE Xplore and ACM Digital Library.
