Call for Track Proposals
23rd Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS 2019)
July 10-12, Xi’an, China

We are excited to announce the Call for Track Proposals for the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS) 2019.

PACIS is the main international Information Systems (IS) conference and the only AIS sponsored conference in the Pacific Asia Region. The primary purpose of PACIS is to enable regional and international Information Systems researchers and practitioners to meet in an annual forum that maximizes the opportunity for the exchange of information.

The conference theme is ‘ICT and the 4th Industrial Revolution.’ We welcome track proposals that support the theme of the conference. The proposals must include:
1. Track title
2. Name(s), email address, affiliation of track chair(s)
3. A brief description of the track
4. Exemplar topics
5. A list of AEs/reviewers

Track Chair Responsibilities
We cordially invite fellow researchers to propose tracks on their particular field of interest. Your responsibilities as a track chair will be to:

1.                   Liaise with the program chairs on all matters that concern PACIS2019;

2.                   Promote the track and take sufficient measures to ensure an adequate number of submissions;

3.                   Organise a peer review cycle for the papers submitted to your track and assure that each paper will receive high quality reviews;

4.                   Propose to the program committee the papers that will eventually be accepted for inclusion into the conference program; nominate papers for the award for best paper;

5.                   At least one of the track co-chairs should attend PACIS2019 and serve as session chair in your track.

Please submit your track proposals to Program co-chairs: Hee-Woong Kim (kimhw at yonsei.ac.kr), James Jiang (jjjiang at ntu.edu.tw), and Dongming Xu (d.xu at business.uq.edu.au) no later than 10th February, 2018.

The co-chairs will review the track proposals and acceptances will be made according to the fit with the conference and the merit of the proposed track. A notification of acceptance will be communicated by March 2018. Upon acceptance of the track proposal, it will be assumed that the Track Chairs will actively promote the tracks and organize the peer-reviewing of the submissions.
