The Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) department at the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF) is searching for an outstanding candidate to fill a faculty position at the rank of Instructor. The candidate will fulfill our undergraduate teaching needs in technical areas including database development and computer applications development in the BS in Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS) degree. Candidates must at minimum have a doctorate degree in information systems or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution or equivalent and must provide evidence of meeting and sustaining the college’s AACSB faculty qualification requirements for scholarly academics. Candidates who will successfully complete all requirements for the doctorate degree by July 1, 2018, including final dissertation defense, may also apply.

Preference will be given to candidates who can also teach in the MS, MBA, and PhD programs; have a track record or willingness to work with businesses on technology projects with students; have a track record and interest in research related to information systems; and have a track record or willingness to support student success initiatives in the department, college, and university.

The ISDS department at the Muma College of Business includes faculty members who engage in fundamental research in management, information systems, and data analytics, collaborate in interdisciplinary research programs, and publish in premier academic journals. The department serves a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs at the college and university levels, including the BS in Business Administration with major and minors in Management & MIS, MS in Management, MS in BAIS, MS in Cybersecurity, MBA, Executive MBA, PhD, and DBA. The BS BAIS program is a highly ranked program in the department.
