The School of Information Technology at Illinois State University invites applications for a non-tenure track, one-year visiting position at any rank.  Salary is commensurate with professional experience and preparation.

To be considered, applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Information Systems or a closely related field. Applicants with expected completion of the doctoral degree before May 2019 will be considered.  Candidates should demonstrate the potential to teach core information systems subjects such as systems analysis and design and database. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.

The School: The School of Information Technology (http://it.illinoisstate.edu) is one of eight units in the College of Applied Science and Technology. The School offers undergraduate majors in Computer Science (CS), Cybersecurity, Information Systems (IS), and Network and Telecommunications Management, and a Master of Science in Information Systems.
