 Colleagues,
Join us in Maui for a brand new hands-on workshop at HICSS-52! If you are
interested in learning more about blockchain, getting exposure to
Hyperledger, or want to hear tips on how to integrate blockchain into your
curriculum, you won't want to miss this workshop. Registration is required
through the HICSS registration system.

*Blockchain *
*Hands-on Workshop **using Hyperledger & Ethereum*

*with Insights into Curriculum Design*

*Timothy Paul Cronan*, Coordinator, University of Arkansas
*Leaders *- Ronald D. Freeze and Rhonda A. Syler, University of Arkansas
& Nitin Kale, University of Southern California

*The objective of this workshop *is to provide faculty participants
with a forum
to learn about, discuss, and identify strategies and resources for
integrating blockchain concepts and courses at their university. This
hands-on workshop is designed to allow participants to learn about
blockchain applications while getting introductory hands-on experience in
Hyperledger and Ethereum platforms. Blockchain activities will
provide valuable
and practical takeaway ideas and solutions for the participants’ own blockchain
curriculum development. Perspectives from the workshop leaders and
software experts will prove to be very valuable for faculty as they develop and
refine the incorporation of blockchain use cases and course modules into
their curriculum. Discussion and exchange will focus on devising
curriculum strategies,
building content, and navigating the challenges that blockchain curriculum
integration presents. The workshop includes finding and sharing available
resources for faculty and student use.

This workshop is intended for faculty who are considering the development of
blockchain course modules, curriculum, or courses, as well as faculty
teaching in the Enterprise Systems area. Workshop highlights/agenda include
