Call for presentations for the 1st Inter-disciplinary Workshop on Effective, Co-created & Compliant Adaptive Case Management for Knowledge Workers (EcoKnow’18 ) Deadline: May 1st, 2018. I…

Deadline: May 1st, 2018.

In order to obtain more effective and services of higher quality for citizens and customers, workflows in governmental organisations as well as private companies are increasingly being “digitalised”.

The digitalisation spans from at one hand robotic-process automation or business process management systems automating highly repetitive, stable and predictive sub processes and at the other hand adaptive case and document management systems supporting knowledge workers carrying out much more varied and unpredictable processes.

Such workflows and services are often subjected to changing laws and regulations, such as the European General Data Protection Regulation or national laws, with which compliance should be ensured at all times.

The EcoKnow workshop aims to bridge between researchers and practitioners across disciplines working on the research and development of technologies, methods and practices for end-to-end effective, co-created & compliant adaptive case management for knowledge workers.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  *   Adaptive Case Management
  *   Computer Supported Cooperative Work
  * It-supported co-creation of governmental and private services
  * The process of process modelling
  *   Agile BPM and eGovernment
  *   Hybrid-process modelling
  *   Declarative process modelling
  *   Document management
  *   Process and Data Mining
  * Predictive and Prescriptive Process management
  *   Process Monitoring
  *   Digitalisation of Law
  * Compliance Frameworks for case and business process management
  *   Privacy and Data Protection

The workshop is supported by the Effective, Co-created & Compliant Adaptive Case Management for Knowledge Workers (EcoKnow) project funded by Innovation Fund Denmark from 2017-2021.

We solicit submissions in the form of talk abstracts, case descriptions, discussion and position papers presenting research in progress, research agendas or ideas for novel combinations of existing and/or new technologies and methods.
Submissions must be of 3-6 pages length and will be subjected to a light review by 2 members the EcoKnow project research team and accepted papers will be provided in an informal electronic pre-proceedings one week prior to the workshop. At least one author of accepted papers must register and give a 15 minutes presentation of the paper at the workshop. Papers are allowed to include previously published material of the authors or material submitted by the authors simultaneous to other workshops and conferences, but should be presented in a way that does not violate copyrights and fits the inter-disciplinary bridge-building aim of the workshop.
