Yichang, China, October 16-18, 2018

INTRODUCTION

=============

Pervasive systems, intelligent Algorithms, and Networks are emerging
fields of research and revolutionary paradigm for next-generation IT
applications. The 15th International Symposium on Pervasive Systems,
Algorithms, and Networks (I-SPAN 2018) aims to establish an
international forum for engineers and scientists to present their
excellent ideas, latest innovations and experiences on Pervasive
Systems, Algorithms, and Networks.

The 15th International Symposium on Pervasive Systems, Algorithms, and
Networks (I-SPAN 2018) follows the tradition of previous successful
I-SPAN conferences, I-SPAN 1994 (Kanazawa, Japan), I-SPAN 1996 (Beijing,
China), I-SPAN 1997 (Taipei, Taiwan), I-SPAN 1999 (Perth/Freemantle,
Australia), I-SPAN 2000 (Dallas/Richardson, Texas, USA), I-SPAN 2002
(Manila, Philippines), I-SPAN 2004 (Hong Kong, China), I-SPAN 2005 (Las
Vegas, USA), I-SPAN 2008 (Sydney, Australia), I-SPAN 2009 (Kaoshiung,
Taiwan), I-SPAN 2011 (Dalian, China), I-SPAN 2012 (San Marcos, Texas),
I-SPAN 2014 (Chengdu, China), I-SPAN 2017 (Exeter, UK).

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

==========================

Authors are invited to submit their original research that has not
previously been submitted or published at any other venue. Submissions
need to be prepared in IEEE CS format and submitted via the EDAS system,
https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=24288

For IEEE formatting information: see
http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

- Proposals for organizing tutorials, workshops or special sessions need
to be submitted to the Tutorials, Workshops and Special Sessions Chairs,
respectively. A proposal should include title, theme, scope and main
presenters/organizers.

- A research paper (8 pages) should explore a specific technology
problem and propose a complete solution to it, with experimental results.

- A works-in-progress (WIP) (6 pages) paper is expected to present less
developed but highly innovative ideas.

- A demo/poster paper (4 pages) must describe a working system and be
related to I-Span. These systems may be innovative prototype
implementations or mature systems that use related technology. Papers/
proposals need to be submitted to the Demo/Poster Chair.

- Workshop and Special Session papers need to be submitted to
corresponding workshops and special sessions.

PUBLICATION

==========================

All accepted papers in the main tracks, workshops, special sessions and
demos/posters will be published in an IEEE Computer Society proceedings
(EI indexed). Extended versions of selected excellent papers will be
considered for publication in special issues of prestige journals
(SCI/EI indexed).
