[AISWorld] pre-ECIS Workshop on Theories of Materiality for Technology Research: Extended submission deadline

May 13, 2018, is the new deadline for submission of extended abstract for the pre-ECIS workshop entitled “TECHNOLOGY MATTERS AND MATTERS OF TECHNOLOGY: EXPLORING THEORIES OF “MATERIALITY” FOR TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH. ”

We ask authors to submit their extended abstract (1500 words) or a short paper (five (5) pages) to marilmni at jyu.fi<mailto:marilmni at jyu.fi>. The workshop committee will process the submissions and select papers based on  the quality and fit to workshop’s theme. By June 1, 2018, authors will be notified about the inclusion of their submission in the program.

The workshop will be held on June 25, 2018, in Portsmouth.  The preliminary schedule is as follows:

09:16 - 10:45 Paper session 1
10:46 – 12:00 Keynote by Professor Lucas Introna, Lancaster University
12:01 – 13:00 Lunch & Networking
13:01 – 14:15 Paper session 2
14:16 – 14:30 Coffee break
14:31 – 15:30 Panel discussion: “What to do with all this material(ity)?”
