Predict Coordinated Development Degree of County Eco-Environment System
Using GA-SVM: A Case Study of Guanzhong Urban Agglomeration

This article describes how economic development has had a significant
impact on the environment. County eco-environment coordinated development
has contributed to regional coordinated development in China. A support
vector machine (SVM) model was constructed to classify and predict
coordinated development degrees of the county eco-environment system. In
order to improve the discrimination precision of SVM in classification, a
Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used to optimize SVM parameters in the solution
space. The method was compared with artificial neural network, decision
tree, logistic regression and naive Bayesian classifier regarding
coordinated development degree of county eco-environment system prediction
for Guanzhong urban agglomeration. It found that the method has the best
accuracy rate, hit rate, covering rate and lift coefficient. The simulation
indicates that the county slowing-down of economic development would not
have positive effect on the environment sustainability. GA-SVM provides an
effective measurement for region eco-environment system classification and
prediction.

AGC of Multi-Area Hydro-Thermal Power Systems With GRC Non-Linearity and
Classical Controller

Technology, Coimbatore, India)

In this article, the optimal gain value of classical controller gain values
is obtained by using different performance indices in Automatic Generation
Control. These are interconnected by the three areas of a hydro-thermal
power system. The thermal and hydro areas are incorporated with a reheat
turbine and a mechanical governor, respectively. The current article was
created to select a suitable technique for the tuning of controller gain,
when 1% of a step load is given to the thermal area (Area 1). The
performance of several controllers, such as Integral (I),
Proportional-Integral (PI), and Integral-Derivative (ID) were evaluated and
were compared to the cases of with and without Generation Rate Constraint
(GRC) non-linearity. The classical controller gain value optimization was
performed using the Integral Time Square Error (ITSE), Integral Square
Error (ISE) and Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE) performance indices.
The minimum optimal value of controller gain normally offers better dynamic
response. The obtained results established that the optimization based on
the ITAE-PI controller always guarantees superior dynamic performances
compared to other indices and controllers.

Optimized Routing for Efficient Data Dissemination in MANET to Meet the
Fast-Changing Technology

Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) is a dynamic network without any centralized
control. Due to frequent topological change, routing has been always a
challenging task in these networks. This article presents optimized routing
for efficient data dissemination in MANETs to meet the fast-changing
technology of today's world. A novel metric for such optimized routing in
MANET is proposed. The main parameters considered to evaluate this metric
are the energy consumed during the communication, link stability, Packet
Delivery Ratio (PDR) and traffic. The concept is based on a scenario in
which a mobile node (source) sends data packets to another mobile node
(destination) through its dynamically connected neighboring nodes. The path
which consumes the lowest energy and also shows highest link stability is
selected for consideration. In case the paths consume the same amount of
energy, the highest stable path is chosen. In this manner, the most
optimized path is selected. The authors' routing approach shows more
efficiency than earlier in dissemination of data and information over the
Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks.

Multi-Label Naïve Bayes Classifier for Identification of Top Destination
and Issues to Accost by Tourism Sector

This article describes how the tourism sector plays very important role in
the social and economic growth of any country. Technologies like the
internet and mobile technologies have changed the marketing strategy of the
sector. It has been observed that business operators and the workforce
employed in the tourism industry do not have sufficient knowledge, tools
and/or strategy to implement technology correctly. Technology can be used
in all the dimensions of tourism for gaining a competitive edge and
providing a wide range of services to customers. For better customer
satisfaction, the industry should know the major issues confronting
tourism. Experiences shared by tourists on social media, i.e. Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, can be used and analyzed to gain insight on
customer needs. In this article, the authors propose a unified framework
and have used tweets shared by tourists for the identification of major
issues faced by tourism sectors. Identified issues are categorized into
four main categories. The obtained results will help players of tourism
sector for improving the services and growth of the sector.

Community Based Feature Selection Method for Detection of Android Malware

The amount of malware has been rising drastically as the Android operating
system enabled smartphones and tablets are gaining popularity around the
world in last couple of years. One of the popular methods of static
detection techniques is permission/feature-based detection of malware
through the AndroidManifest.xml file using machine learning classifiers.
Ignoring important features or keeping irrelevant features may specifically
cause mystification to classification algorithms. Therefore, to reduce
classification time and improve accuracy, different feature reduction tools
have been used in past literature. Community detection is one of the major
tools in social network analysis but its implementation in the context of
malware detection is quite rare. In this article, the authors introduce a
community-based feature reduction technique for Android malware detection.
The proposed method is evaluated on two datasets consisting of 3004 benign
components and 1363 malware components. The proposed community-based
feature reduction technique produces a classification accuracy of 98.20%
and ROC value up to 0.989.

Mobile Sink as Checkpoints for Fault Detection Towards Fault Tolerance in
Wireless Sensor Networks

India), Parmeet Kaur (Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida,
India)

A WSN consists of a large number of limited computation and storage
capability wireless sensor nodes, which communicate wirelessly. These
sensor nodes typical communicate in short range and collaborate to
accomplish the network function. To increase the range of sensing and with
the advent of MEMS, mobile sensors and sinks is the technology the world is
moving to. This paper presents a network of mobile sensors and a sink. A
mobile sink is selected as check-point to have the recoverability of the
network. A Fuzzy Rule based system (FRS) is used to construct and select
efficient static sensor nodes having adequate resources as Check Point
Storage Nodes (CPSNs). The objective of FRS is to increase the probability
of recovery of check-pointed data subsequent to a failure, thereby allowing
a distributed application to complete its execution successfully.
Simulations show FRS's better recovery probabilities in comparison to a
random check-pointing arrangement.

economy and the health of the economy is depicted by the major indices of
that market. These indices tell the overall working of the markets. SENSEX
of the sensitivity index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and is one of the
major stock indices traded in India which is impacted by a large number of
global and domestic factors. A fall in the stock market of the United
States of America or any other global market triggers a change in SENSEX as
well. Thus, showcasing the high-end correlation between global markets. In

world indices on the SENSEX using ANN's.

Role of Instructors' Forum Interactions With Students in Promoting MOOC
Continuance

This article describes how MOOCs, being a new global education and
technology phenomenon, present both opportunities and challenges to
educators and learners. The lack of face-to-face engagement introduces a
sense of isolation in students, resulting in a high dropout rate. To this
end, online forums are deemed to help overcome the problem by enabling
interactions among the learners and facilitating their learning. Recent
research further suggests that with an online forum provided in a MOOC, the
presence of instructors may not be important. However, in this article, the
authors provide two important insights: First, online forum indeed plays an
important role in motivating learner continuance. Second, among the
different types of forum activities, they find that interaction with
instructors emerge as an important factor contributing to more assignment
completions in addition to forum posting. The authors' post-hoc analysis
also indicates that the importance of instructor presence may be
particularly salient in the Eastern vis-à-vis Western culture, which points
to future research opportunities.

Assessing the Physicians' Acceptance of E-Prescribing in a Developing
Country: An Extension of the UTAUT Model With Moderating Effect of
Perceived Organizational Support

This article describes how physicians in developing countries spend much
time and effort in handling manual prescriptions, which can be easily
reduced with the help of online technology. Although different theoretical
models for technology acceptance have been thoroughly explored, there is as
yet sparse literature regarding its use in the context of healthcare in
developing countries, especially with innovative models. To this end, this
article uses an integrative model of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use
of Technology (UTAUT) extended by perceived credibility to better
understand the acceptance of e-prescribing among physicians in a developing
Asian country. In addition, the article uses perceived organizational
support as a moderator between behavioral intentions and usage of
technology. Using a survey method, the article collects data from 295
physicians in the capital city of Pakistan and analyzes the data through
structural equation modeling (SEM) to evaluate relationships among the
identified constructs. The authors' results supply empirical evidence that
performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social
influence, and perceived credibility all have a positive and significant
impact on physicians' behavioral intentions to adopt e-prescribing. The
article also concludes that the higher the perceived organizational
support, the higher the use of e-prescribing. The study enriches theory and
practice by giving implications for both academicians and practitioners.
