This M&D Symposium is co-located with the International Development
Informatics Association (IDIA) conference on 23-24 August 2018 at La'Wiida
Lodge & Conference Centre (http://www.lawiidalodge.co.za/)

We are aiming to develop promising young researchers and support them with
their research in progress, to improve papers for submission to other
conferences or journals. Notably the IFIP 9.4 conference in 2019 or
specialist ICT4D tracks. We hope to receive submissions based on extracts
from Masters and PhD work-in-progress. To contribute to this process, two
workshops related to research methodologies and writing for publication will
be conducted.

The registration fee for the postgraduate symposium attendance is R500. The
postgraduate symposium is open to postgraduate students only. All travel and
accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participant.

Note: All individual members of IFIP member societies plus all members of
IFIP Technical Committees and Working Groups are entitled to a discount of
10% on registration fees. To claim the discount delegates need to state
which IFIP member society, Technical Committee or Working Group they belong
to.
