Title: Innovative Entrepreneurship: The Implementation and Impact of the Digital Australian Dollar in Australian Entrepreneurial Ventures

The purpose of this research is to explore the role of digital currencies in relation to transactions, payments and entrepreneurial financing and understand how the use of digital currencies is impacting innovation performance, along with, the extent to which they may transform how business is conducted both in Australia and around the globe. It is anchored in the ongoing discussion with regards to the creation of a Digital Australian Dollar; a ‘programmable’, government-endorsed digital currency that is utilizing Blockchain and Ethereum technologies, along with smart contracts, in a compliant and less volatile manner.

Applicants are required to have a Bachelor degree honours and/or a Research Master’s degree with H1 or 2A equivalence in a discipline relevant to financial technologies and entrepreneurship areas.
