*2018 SEINFORMS Annual Meeting Call for Paper* *(the official CFP as
attached)*

Dear Colleagues,

Please consider submitting papers, extended abstracts, research-
in-progress, panels or workshops to the 54th annual meeting of the
SEINFORMS held in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, October 3-5, 2018. Your
students are encouraged to submit papers to the *Graduate Student Paper
Competition *or *Faculty Sponsored Undergraduate Research *track. Student
papers are eligible for their own set of rewards and recognition.

Below is a listing of SEINFORMS meeting important dates:

   - *Mar 15* – Submissions open;
   - *June 15 -* consideration for proceedings publication and BEST PAPERS
   Awards, open for completed papers;
   - *July 15 -* consideration for proceedings publication, open for
   completed paper, symposium/tutorial/workshop proposals, and extended
   abstract.
   - *Sep 7* – Last date to receive conference hotel rate.

*AWARD OPPORTUNITY:* SEINFORMS will offer “Best Papers for the Conference”.
Best papers will be fast-tracked for consideration for publication in the
International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing, the Virginia
Economic Journal, The Journal of Service Sciences, or the Coastal Business
Journal as deemed appropriate.

Papers are invited on topics related to the following areas/tracks:

   - Accounting
   - Business Analytics and Business Intelligence
   - Distance Education
   - Innovative Educational Practices
   - Faculty Sponsored Undergraduate Research
   - Finance and Economics
   - Graduate Student Paper
   - Hospitality, Sports, Tourism and Recreation
   - IT, DSS, and cybersecurity
   - Management and Healthcare Management
   - Marketing
   - Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
   - Public Sector, Social, and Ethical Issues
