Post-doctoral Position at the University of Ottawa, Canada



We are seeking applicants for a post-doctoral position at the University of Ottawa, Canada.



The selected candidate will conduct research on the topic of Social Commerce (s-commerce) -i.e., leveraging social interactions and user contributions in the context of e-commerce. More specifically, the selected candidate will work on proposing and validating an s-commerce design framework that can streamline the development of s-commerce applications.



Candidates must:

- have a recent PhD in Information Systems or related area

- have research interests in e-commerce, e-commerce application design, social commerce, or related topics

- have a strong research record

- be a team player

- be able to work independently

- have good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)



The contract is for one year, but is renewable if results are satisfactory.
