Jiawei, you can send a message to the AIS Listserv AISWorld at lists.aisnet.org<mailto:AISWorld at lists.aisnet.org> . In the past I have seen people looking for roommates that way.

Thank you,
Shu

Subject: Looking for a roommate @ AMCIS 2018

To Whom It May Concern:

Thanks for accepting our study.

Now, I’m booking my room in “the Hyatt Regency New Orleans Hotel” for the AMCIS-2018. I’m looking for a roommate who can share a room with me from August 15 - August 19 (4 nights). But, I barely know other participants. Do you know anyone who also want to share a room? I am a Male, and I prefer a Male roommate, if so, I think it would be more convenient for both of us. If you have any recommendation, please contact me. Thank you very much! Looking forward to your reply.
