The 18th Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS 2018)

======================

Registration for PETS 2018 is OPEN at
https://petsymposium.org/2018/registration.php
Early registration deadline: June 17, 2018

The annual Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS) brings
together privacy experts from around the world to discuss recent
advances and new perspectives on research in privacy technologies.
PETS addresses the design and realization of privacy services for the
Internet and other digital systems and communication networks. See
https://petsymposium.org/2018/index.php and related pages for more
information.

PETS presents the papers published in the current volume of the
journal Proceedings on Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PoPETs). See
https://petsymposium.org/2018/program.php for the list of accepted
papers and the keynote by Alan Mislove.

As in the last couple of years, PETS will include a one-day workshop
on Hot Topics in Privacy Enhancing Technologies (HotPETs 2018). The
ambition of the workshop is to foster new ideas, spirited debates, as
well as controversial perspectives on privacy (and lack thereof). See
https://petsymposium.org/2018/hotpets.php for more details. See the
general program https://petsymposium.org/2018/program.php for a list
of talks and the keynote by Joris van Hoboken.

On the Monday July 23, the day before PETS, the Open Day for Privacy,
Transparency, and Decentralization (OPERANDI 2018) takes place. The
Open Day will feature a mix of panels, lightning talks, and a poster
session, attracting young researchers, activists, hackers, and
students interested in technology, society, ethics, and policy
aspects of privacy and privacy technologies. See
https://petsymposium.org/2018/workshop.php for more details.
