The Department of Information Systems & Analytics at the Farmer School of
Business at Miami University invites applications for a full-time assistant
professor in information systems.



Information Systems & Analytics: Assistant Professor in information systems
(tenure-track) to teach information systems and analytics courses; maintain
an active research agenda that results in top tier publications; advise
students; and provide service to the institution and profession.  Start
date of position is August 2019.



Required: Candidates must have completed a doctorate in Information Systems
or a related area by date of appointment.



Consideration may be given to candidates with: graduate degrees from an
accredited business school; previous success in teaching and research in
one or more of the following areas of information systems: IT strategy
and/or innovation, emergent technologies (e.g., Blockchain, AI, VR/AR,
IoT), cybersecurity or big data and business analytics; or prior academic
experience in a business school environment and work experience in
information systems or a related area.
