Title:  Assistant, Associate, Full Professor – Information Management / Information Systems

Position Description:
The University of Washington Information School is at an exciting juncture, as we broaden and deepen our Master of Information Management (MSIM) Program and Information Systems research. We seek a creative, energetic, forward-thinking scholar to help catalyze this growth.  This individual should have a strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching and service and should thrive in a diverse, intellectually stimulating, multi-disciplinary environment.

The position is a full-time 9-month appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor. Rank and tenure status is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will join a broad-based, inclusive Information School that offers multiple degree programs and is committed to the values of leadership, innovation, and diversity.

Information Management is an emerging field with the purpose of designing, developing, managing, and using information with insight and innovation to support decision making and create value for individuals, organizations, communities, and societies.  While all areas of information management are welcome, we are particularly interested in scholars who can complement iSchool expertise in one or more of the following areas:


  *   Information systems
  *   Business analytics/business intelligence
  *   Information/cyber security

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a PhD, JD, EdD, or foreign equivalent by date of appointment.  University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
