*        two keynote speakers: Lucy Suchman (Lancaster U.) and Paul Edwards (Stanford U. and Michigan State U.),

*       a panel on the specific ideas and practices of working with materiality in IS research chaired by Wanda Orlikowski and panelists Dubrava Cecez-Kecmanovic, Silvia Gherardi and Susan Scott, and

*       a dinner cruise of San Francisco Bay as the closing event.
