has been chosen as the recipient of the 2017 James Chen Annual Award for Best Journal Article. It was selected based on nominations from journal reviewers, special issue editors and editorial board members, and a subsequent comparative review by an award committee. UMUAI is a highly-ranked http://www.umuai.org/journal_rankings.htmlinterdisciplinary journal for the dissemination of new research results on interactive computer systems that adapt themselves to their current users, and on the role of user models in the adaptation process.
