[AISWorld] Reminder: Nominate for the doctoral student service award!

Dear colleagues and friends,

Do you know of a doctoral student (or recently graduated doctoral student)
who provided outstanding service to the I.S. discipline or AIS? Please
consider nominating them for the AIS doctoral student service award.

Nominations are now open, and you can nominate at
https://aisnet.org/general/custom.asp?page=DocServiceAward ; the nomination
form closes October 1. Recipients will be recognized at ICIS 2018.

The Doctoral Student Service Award is given to individuals who:

(1) Made exceptional volunteer contributions to one or more of the
following programs:
 (a) AIS Conferences: ICIS, AMCIS, ECIS, or PACIS
 (b) AIS Publications
 (c) AIS SIGs, Chapters, Colleges, or Student Chapters

(2) Made contributions over and above typical student volunteer work during
the academic year preceding that of the nomination year (i.e., 2017-18).

(3) Were doctoral students at the time of making the contributions, but may
have graduated at the time of award receipt

(4) Are members of AIS, both at the time of service and at the time of
recognition.

(5) Have not received this award previously.
