Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position – Lecturer in Business Analytics at Georgia Institute of Technology

The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking candidates for one academic non-tenure track lecturer position in Business Analytics beginning spring or fall semester of 2019. The chosen candidate will teach courses in business analytics in the undergraduate, MBA, and MS in Analytics programs offered by the College.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have relevant teaching experience in business analytics, machine learning, marketing analytics, financial analytics, risk analytics, supply chain analytics, or related topics. Experience in teaching in online and/or non-degree programs is beneficial. The minimum educational requirement for the position is a Ph.D. in business analytics, marketing, operations management, finance, information systems or a related discipline. However, Ph.D. candidates who expect to complete the degree prior to joining the College will also be considered. Exceptional candidates with a Master’s degree and significant relevant industry experience will also be considered. Compensation and benefits will be competitive and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Business Analytics is an interdisciplinary activity at Scheller College with faculty across multiple areas (operations management, marketing, information systems, finance) conducting research and teaching courses. The College has a Business Analytics Center that brings together organizations, analytics thought leaders, talented students, and the world-class faculty at Georgia Tech. Lecturers are integral to the teaching mission of the Scheller College and play a very important role in our undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition to teaching, they may participate in student advisement, curriculum and content development, and academic committees. They are encouraged to participate in professional development such as through conferences, teaching workshops, and other creative contributions. Teaching loads can vary based on other responsibilities.
