The Bryan School, UNC Greensboro, and the City
The Bryan School has over 4,200 undergraduate and graduate students and
more than 140 full- and part-time faculty members housed in six departments
and programs. Accredited in both business and accounting by AACSB, the
Bryan School is the recipient of many rankings, honors, and accolades. The
faculty and students are both impressive. For example, in 2017 faculty
members averaged 2.6 peer-reviewed journal articles each (10 in FT50
journals), published 13 books, and occupied 82 editorial positions with
peer-reviewed journals (editor, associate editor, or editorial board
member). Students have traditionally performed well in national and
regional competitions. The School takes great pride in being one of the
most diverse business schools in the UNC system. More information about the
School may be found at the following URL: http://bryan.uncg.edu.

UNCG was one of the three original institutions in the University of North
Carolina system (Chapel Hill and NC State were the others). Classified as a
high research activity university, UNCG is also committed to high-quality
teaching to its more than 20,000 students in seven colleges and schools.

Greensboro is the third largest city in NC with approximately 287,000
people in an MSA of some 1.6 million. Ideally located in the Piedmont Triad
region of North Carolina, Greensboro is only a few hours from either beach
or mountain. The city boasts many great rankings, including two of the top
four high schools in NC (including #12 US), #1 in driver satisfaction, #51
Best Places to Live, and #9 for Women-Owned Businesses. The city also
boasts an established and rapidly expanding fine arts culture,
child-friendly venues and a multitude of outdoor amenities. With seven
higher education institutions in the immediate area, a large industrial
base, and proximity to the Research Triangle and Charlotte, it is an
attractive location for dual career families.

All positions commence on August 1, 2019. Screening of applications shall
begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Questions
about the position should be directed to Dr. Gurpreet Dhillon, Head of
ISSCM Department at isscmfs at uncg.edu.
