The Antai College of Economics and Management at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University invites applications for tenure-track positions in Information Systems at the assistant or associate professor level.

The applicant should earn a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems or related fields by August 2019. The applicant should demonstrate: (1) the ability to conduct high quality research and publish in top-tier academic journals, and (2) the capability to teach undergraduate IS courses in English. Candidates who can teach one of the following courses are preferred: Algorithmic Trading and Quantitative Investment, Blockchain Programming and Applications, Marketing Analytics and Recommendation Systems, Healthcare Analytics, SQL and NoSQL Databases, MapReduce and Hadoop, Scala and Spark, Web Development, Deep Learning and Transfer Learning, Natural Language Processing. Applicants for senior appointment should have an outstanding track record of high quality research and teaching excellence. We are looking for candidates with strong research background in FinTech, Marketing Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, and Big Data Analytics. Other research areas will also be considered.

The appointments will carry globally competitive total salary packages, including starting research funds, medical benefits and housing allowances. The normal teaching load is 128 teaching hours per year (1 teaching hour = 45 minutes teaching), with a teaching load reduction of 50% in the first year.
