[AISWorld] MISQE appoints Gabriele Piccoli as incoming Editor-in-Chief

MIS Quarterly Executive is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Gabriele Piccoli as the incoming editor-in-chief.  Professor Piccoli’s 3-year appointment will begin January 1, 2019.  Professor Piccoli has authored many papers and reports for MISQE over the years and served as senior editor on numerous papers as well as guest editor of the special issue on Digital Data Streams.  His 2014 paper titled “Impact of Mobility and Timing on User-Generated Content<http://aisel.aisnet.org/misqe/vol13/iss3/4>” was one of the winners of the 2015 AIS Senior Scholars Award for Best IS Publication.  And he was the senior editor for another award-winning MISQE paper, Using Text Analytics to Derive Customer Service Management Benefits from Unstructured Data<http://aisel.aisnet.org/misqe/vol15/iss4/4>, one of the recipients of the 2017 AIS Senior Scholars Award for Best IS Publication.
