This is Call For Papers of "Information Technology in Healthcare" Track for PACIS 2019, the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems. PACIS is the main international Information Systems (IS) conference and the only AIS sponsored conference in the Pacific Asia Region. The theme of PACIS 2019 is Secure ICT Platform for the 4th Industrial Revolution. PACIS 2019 will be held from July 8 to 12, 2019, at Xi’an City, China, one of the most historical cities where Terra-cotta Warriors are located. - Paper submission deadline : 18 February 2019
- Paper acceptance notifications: 15 April 2019
- Camera-ready due: 29 April 2019
- Conference date: 8-12 July 2019

Completed research manuscripts must not exceed fourteen (14) single-spaced pages and research-in-progress manuscripts must not exceed eight (8) single-spaced pages. The page limit includes everything – the cover page (which contains the title, abstract and keywords), all text, figures, tables, references, and appendices.

Track2: "Information Technology in Healthcare"

As information technologies continue to migrate into all aspects of our life, healthcare society is also inevitably affected. Due to the natural importance of healthcare systems, understanding how IT can help improve the current healthcare industry becomes increasingly critical. This track intends to provide an information exchange platform for researchers and practitioners in the fields of healthcare and information systems. We welcome discussions of the adoption, migration, and utilization of information systems and technology in the healthcare field. Specifically we are interested to discuss how big data, data analytics, social media, mobile devices, and other information technology help shape the modern healthcare systems and society. We are also soliciting research submissions related to security and privacy challenges, system design and implementation, smart hospital, and senior citizen's healthcare management, etc. We particularly embrace the participation of healthcare practitioners. Their practical point of view will generate interesting and prospective sparks to all participants of this track.
