at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The position is expected to
begin Fall 2019. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence
in teaching, research, and service in an institution dedicated to
undergraduate and graduate education.  The Walker College of Business is
committed to ensuring that its graduates are equipped to succeed in an
increasingly innovative, multicultural, and interdependent world.

Qualifications required are an earned Ph.D. in Information Systems (IS),
Business Analytics, or a related field from an AACSB accredited
institution. Exceptional ABDs with teaching and research experience may be
considered. The applicant's academic concentration, research programs or
professional experience should be in areas directly related to IS,
cybersecurity, and/or analytics. Applicants must be able to demonstrate
teaching excellence at the collegiate level along with a strong commitment
to high quality research in the field. The candidate will be expected to
perform university, public, and professional service as part of the
workload. Relevant teaching experience at the university level, a record of
publications in peer reviewed journals and/or certifications in the field
of IS or business analytics.  Knowledge of working with popular analytics
software tools and languages commonly used in industry such as SAS, IBM
SPSS Modeler, SQL, Python, R. Hadoop, Tableau, among others. The successful
candidate should have the ability to teach at both the graduate and
undergraduate levels. Preference will be given to those applicants with
education, training or business/teaching experience in data analytics.
