[AISWorld] Non-Tenure Track Faculty Positions - Computer Information Systems

The Department of Computer Information Systems in the Walker College of
Business at Appalachian State University invites applications for one or
more full-time, benefit earning, non-tenure track faculty positions,
beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020, subject to funding.
Students majoring or minoring in the Computer Information Systems (BSBA)
degree at Appalachian State University gain valuable professional skills
and capabilities, enabling them to pursue a wide variety of
technology-related careers. The CIS major teaches students how to
successfully interface between the technical and management aspects within
companies.

Minimum qualifications for candidates for non-tenure track positions
include an earned Master’s degree in Information Systems or closely related
field prior to July 1, 2019 from an accredited institution.  Skills
necessary include a demonstrated proficiency in teaching computer
information systems subject matter with the ability to integrate business
analytics concepts and spreadsheet skills into course content. Individuals
holding full-time non-tenure track positions are expected to teach the
equivalent of 12 credit hours per academic semester and provide service to
the institution.

Qualified applicants should submit a complete application electronically as

curriculum vitae, teaching philosophy, teaching evaluations, if available,
