Special Issue on INTELLIGENT
APPLICATIONS IN MICROSYSTEMS
Aims and scope

This Special Issue of the
MICROPROCESSORS AND MICROSYSTEMS (MICPRO) journal aims to cover specific
problems in the biomedical engineering field. The origin of this special
issue is the IEEE - International Conference on Biomedical Engineering
and Applications held in Funchal (Portugal) on July 9-11, 2018. Notice
that the extended papers must contain at least 30% of new material
different from the original work published in the
conference.

Submission instructions

The Journal's submission system
will be open for submissions to our Special Issue from 14 03 2019. When
submitting your manuscript please select the article type "VSI:
INTELLIGENT MICROSYSTEMS". Please submit your manuscript before 30 04
2019.

All submissions deemed suitable to be sent for peer review will
be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Once your manuscript
is accepted, it will go into production, and will be simultaneously
published in the current regular issue and pulled into the online
Special Issue. Articles from this Special Issue will appear in different
regular issues of the journal, though they will be clearly marked and
branded as Special Issue articles.
