Position Title: Assistant Professor, Information Systems (Cybersecurity)
Hiring Unit: School of Business, Department of Computer Management & Information Systems (CMIS) - SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL

Job Description:
The SIUE School of Business is seeking to fill a tenure-eligible Assistant Professor faculty position in information systems, with research and teaching specialization in Cybersecurity.  Candidates will also be expected to teach in one or more of the following areas: Business Analytics, Information Systems Project Management, or Systems Analysis & Design. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of industry experience in information systems.  The Department of CMIS provides instruction within the School of Business in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with 3 specializations in CIS, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics), Master of Science in CMIS (MS CMIS), Business Analytics and Project Management specializations in the MS CMIS, Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics, and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The curriculum includes a full range of computing courses and is supported by state-of-the-art computer software and hardware technology.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold an earned doctorate in information systems or a closely related field (preference will be given to graduates from an AACSB accredited business school); ABD's nearing completion may be considered.  Candidates must be qualified to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and possess a research record or potential commensurate with position rank.  A commitment to top-quality research, teaching, and service is required.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Terms of Appointment: Full-time, continuing, tenure-eligible appointment beginning August 2020.
