The Department of Information and Technology Management (ITM) at The University of Tampa's Sykes College of Business invites applicants for the position of Director of Cybersecurity Program to start in fall 2020. This is a tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor level or higher. Assistant Professor with substantial expertise will also be considered.

*        The candidate must have a Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited program, or equivalent, in Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field; hold an Associate Professor rank or higher (an Assistant Professor with substantial expertise will also be considered); have active scholarship and teaching experience in Cybersecurity or a related field; and have excellent leadership and communication skills.



Responsibilities include supervising Cybersecurity labs, curriculum and lab exercises development, continuous improvement for assurance of learning, recruiting and advising students, partnering with local businesses, and other administrative functions for the program under the direction of the ITM department chair. Teaching load is two four-credit hour courses at graduate and undergraduate levels during each semester.
