Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a full-time tenured or tenure-track position in Information Systems beginning August 2020, or negotiable after the closing date.  All faculty levels will be considered, but candidates should expect to have completed their doctoral degree by August 1, 2020. We seek candidates who have an active program of research and demonstrated teaching excellence in information systems. Salary is competitive and commensurate with rank and experience.

The Gies College of Business at Illinois offers the iMBA and specialized Masters’ programs, as well as a highly ranked undergraduate program. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the Ph.D. program, in addition to one or more of the above programs.

The faculty position is in the Information Systems, Operations, Supply Chains, and Analytics (IOSA) area. IOSA faculty are a research-active group with expertise in domains ranging from business analytics, healthcare, operations strategy, supply chain risk, healthcare IT, technology & governance, new product development, eBusiness strategy, and social media platforms. As part of the larger Department of Business Administration, with leading scholars in areas of Strategy and International Business, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior, we offer a uniquely hospitable environment for interdisciplinary work, as well as the opportunity to work with talented doctoral students.
