The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for an open-rank tenure track position in Information Systems to start in September 2020. The rank for the position is Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, depending upon the qualifications of the candidate. All levels of experience are invited to apply.

Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems (or a closely related field), preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution. The ideal candidate for this position will have an active program of research with a demonstrated ability for high quality scholarly publications in IS journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS) or Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS). Preference for this position will be given to candidates who conduct behavioral or strategic IS research. Potential or demonstrated ability to teach doctoral seminars and mentor doctoral students is highly desirable. Commensurate teaching experience or evidence of expertise in one or more of the following areas is required: project management, IS strategy, business analytics or enterprise systems.
