Job description:
This tenure track position involves research activities in accounting,  information management or related fields such as Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, leading to publications in top-rated international journals. Educational duties will involve graduate (master’s and executive master’s), and undergraduate (bachelor’s) courses within the area of Information Systems. In addition, you will build bridges between new developments in IT and the field of accounting and/or auditing.
Career progression:
Tenure decisions are based on individual performance, principally in research and teaching. Maastricht University salaries are competitive with those at other European universities and annual teaching loads are also comparable. Furthermore, significant research support is provided, such as WRDS, an experimental lab and individual research budgets.
Job qualifications:
Candidates for this position should have a PhD (or be near completion) in Accounting or Information Management or related fields such as (Accounting) Information Systems, Business Intelligence or Knowledge Management. Candidates should have acquired teaching experience.
