St. Cloud State University seeks applications for a Fixed Term Non-Probationary Position in the Information Systems Department of the Herberger Business School beginning Fall Semester 2020. In addition to eight undergraduate majors, the School offers an MBA and a Master of Science in Information Assurance. Applicants will be expected to establish and maintain a professional goal to become outstanding teachers through the use of research-based, best-practices pedagogy. They should be willing to participate in teaching using alternative delivery methods such as online and hybrid.  They will regularly engage in ongoing professional development and innovation opportunities focused on pedagogical growth offered within the School and at St. Cloud State University.

Required Qualifications:
1. Master's degree at the time of application from a regionally accredited academic program completed in a campus-based classroom program.
2. Be able to teach courses in IS and IA areas that the department needs such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Data Analytics, Project Management, IT Strategy Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Enterprise Architecture, IT Security and Risk Management, Computer Forensics, Unix Operating Systems, Decision Support Systems, Client/Server Security, Database, Systems Analysis and Design, Quantum Computing, Programming, Business Statistics, and/or IT Infrastructure.
3. Ability to teach and work effectively with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds, including students, departmental colleagues and others in the university and business community as demonstrated by experience or collaborative projects
4. Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Ph. D in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Assurance from an AACSB or other nationally accredited academic program.
2. Willingness to contribute to student growth and development.
