Job Description
Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) Department of Business and Information Technology seeks to fill two tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions beginning in Fall 2020. Preferred teaching interests include cybersecurity, information assurance, computer networking, web and digital media development, and human-computer interaction/user experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The normal teaching load is two courses per semester. The candidate is expected to deliver high-quality instruction, publish high-quality research papers, participate in developing the undergraduate and graduate programs in the department, serve on department and campus committees, and provide academic advising to students.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD in IS/IT or a closely related field (ABD candidates with a definite completion date may be considered for Assistant Professor positions).

Preferred Qualifications
PhD from an AACSB-accredited institution or an institution with equivalent or comparable accreditation to AACSB. Evidence of excellence in teaching courses at undergraduate and graduate levels; experience in teaching online or distance classes; commitment and demonstrable ability to be a productive researcher; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
