SCOPE

The use of IST grows in society changing business models and the
relationship of the customers with the market. These changes impose new
visions in organisations to face new demands. Professionals need to be
prepared with new skills to help the organisation to respond to these
changes, and the market needs professionals with an open mind to envision
new business models.
This change is called “digital transformation” (DT). DT is driven by Big
Data, Cloud Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Analytics,
among others.
E-business plays a fundamental role in the DT of organisations. The
technological evolution enhances the rise of new ecosystems - it is up to
researchers, academics and entrepreneurs to present viable and agile
alternatives to change.
