Dear colleagues

Last week saw the announcement of the the Learning Action Awards. Please share your syllabi or curricula changes made as a result of Covid-19 so we can collectively learn how to adapt effectively. There will be two awards for each region.

There is a detailed summary of a New York Times article on the impact of working from home. Some research opportunities are suggested, and there are educational needs IS academics will need to consider. The article could stimulate thinking for your Learning Action Award submission.

Some key questions on the nature of a safe classroom environment are raised. How should you react if students fail to comply with social distancing and wearing face masks?
