Dear Colleague,

We cordially invite you and your colleagues to submit your contributed papers to the 13th IFIP WG 8.1 working conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modelling in Riga (Latvia) November 25-27, 2020.

The papers will be published in Spring LNBIP series and indexed in Scopus, WoS and other major databases.
The authors of selected best papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for a special issue of Software and Systems Modeling (SoSyM) journal.
The extended submission deadline is on July 27, 2020. The conference website is http://poem2020.rtu.lv.

The PoEM’s organizers and community are committed to organizing this year’s conference as an on-site event in Riga, Latvia. We are closely monitoring the current situation and hope that the travel and social distancing situation will be tenable in November to meet everyone in person.
However, we are also working on contingency plans:

  *   In the case of prohibitive gathering and meeting restrictions, the conference will be organized as an on-line event;
  *   In the case of travel restrictions on free movement to/from Latvia, affected participants will be able to present their work remotely;
  * In any case, the conference will be streamed on-line and available to registered participants.
There will be no fee for the on-line event (if on-site event is not possible). The participants affected by the travel restrictions and not able to participate on-site will have substantially reduced registration fee.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee,

Jānis Grabis and Dominik Bork
Program Co-chairs
