The Information Systems and Technology Department at IE University's School
of Business <http://www.ie.edu/business-school/> invites qualified
applicants for tenure-track positions at the Assistant professor level to
start in September 2021.

Our current research span: IT strategy and innovation, economics of
Information Systems, big data and business analytics, machine learning,
cybersecurity, e-business, e-learning, e-health, smart cities, and emergent
technologies.

The IS&T department boasts a diverse and international faculty of
Engineers, Computer Scientists, Social Scientists, Applied Econometricians,
Computational Linguists, and IT Leaders. The Department is a member of the
European Research Center for Information Systems Research (ERCIS) and
members of the Department are actively involved in the European research
arena, being awarded several EU research grants such as EU 2020 Digymatex,
EU FP7 Contrail and EU E-Leadership, among others.

IE faculty have regularly won prestigious research grants like the ERC
Starting Grant and the Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship. Various faculty
members in IE also hold senior editorial positions in top-tier
international journals.

We seek high quality researchers aiming to publish in top-tier
peer-reviewed journals. Successful candidates would also be capable of
teaching in the undergraduate or graduate levels (in English).
Interdisciplinary research is welcome and encouraged.

Salary for these positions will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience.

Qualifications

Applicants should have earned a PhD in a relevant discipline from a
recognized school by the date of the appointment.

We seek high quality researchers aiming to publish in top-tier
peer-reviewed journals. Successful candidates would also be capable of
teaching in the undergraduate or graduate levels (in English).
