Starting from 2021, each year, the Faculty of Business and Economics at TU
Dresden will grant up to three Distinguished Research Fellowships for
internationally renowned scholars. Key objectives of the newly established
Fellowship program are to foster innovative ideas and initiate exciting,
vibrant research collaborations; to support the development of PhD students
and early-career scholars (e.g., postdocs); as well as to further expand the
international research network and activities of the Faculty.

Fellowship applications are open to international scholars at the professor
level, including outstanding assistant and associate professors, who:

(a) are active researchers in one of the following fields: information
systems, business administration, and economics;

(b) work at a university or research institution *outside* of Germany; and

(c) have *no* recent collaboration history with current members of TU
Dresden’s Faculty of Business and Economics (e.g., no joint research
projects and/or publications within the last five years).

The first cohort of Distinguished Research Fellows will be awarded in spring
2021. Each Fellow will be provided with funds of up to 10,000 EUR for the
realization of the proposed research project (including travel, lodging, and
other possible expenses associated with her/his stay at TU Dresden).

The application form, as well as additional information on the Fellowships
