Quantum computing is a critical industry of the future and is poised to drive the nation's industrial base, economic strength and national security in the coming decades. We are on the cusp of a new quantum revolution that will require the nation to engage a well-prepared workforce. The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) is interested in the preparation of students for quantum information science and engineering (QISE) at all levels and in all settings, both formal and informal.

On Friday, August 27 at 1-2:30 PM ET, NSF will hold the third webinar addressing some of the programs managed by the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) and now opened up for the Quantum Information Science and Engineering flavors. This activity is related to the Dear Colleague Letter “Advancing Quantum Education and Workforce Development” :
