***The Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems and Cyber Security at the rank of Assistant Professor commencing on July 1st, 2022 or earlier.

***Title of position: Professor of Information Systems and Cyber Security at the rank of Assistant.

***Cyber Security is a strategic area of research and innovation at the University of Ottawa. This is also an important area of research and education globally both in private and public sectors. The University of Ottawa aims to become a globally recognized university in Cyber Security research and education. Recently, in partnership with IBM Canada, the University of Ottawa has launched a Cyber Security Hub attracting researchers and expertise in the field with funding from both private and government organizations. ***Requirements:
**Education: The candidate should have completed or expected to complete a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems or related disciplines.
**Language: English and/or French. Passive knowledge of the other official language in Canada is a requirement for tenure. The ability to teach in both official languages is an asset.
**Work experience:
*A high-potential research program as demonstrated by articles published in high quality and high impact peer-reviewed journals in the area of Information Systems or related disciplines. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a track record or potential in attracting competitive research funding and active engagement in the academic community.
*Evidence of teaching competency at the undergraduate, professional, and graduate levels as demonstrated by past teaching record and evaluations.

***Application Deadline: Applications received prior to October 29, 2021 will be given first consideration. Applications received after that date will be considered until the position is filled.
