Assistant Professor in Digitalization (Tenure Track with a focus on education)

The Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM) invites applications for a tenure-track position as an assistant professor in Digitalization. The position is established within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) section, which is part of the department Engineering Systems and Services (ESS). The ESS department hosts expertise in ICT (cybersecurity, AI, distributed systems, IT architectures, digital government), energy and industry, health systems, logistics, and mobility. By combining our domain expertise with systems thinking, ESS addresses socio-technical challenges, such as digital innovations for energy, industry, health, logistics and mobility systems.

In this position, you will:

o    Contribute to the educational programmes of the department
o    Perform research in the field of Digitalization
o    Contribute to the organization and management of education in the faculty

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) section offers an assistant professor position (tenure-track) in Digitalization. The position consists of teaching (60%), research (20%) and teaching-related management (20%).
The candidate should have:
* A PhD (or is about to finish their PhD soon) degree in computer science, information systems, AI, information sciences, systems engineering or a related technical discipline;
* Experience with academic teaching (and possibly with a university teaching qualification);
* List three references who may be contacted by the selection committee later in the process;
* An excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage
