The Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business invites applications for a lecturer position in Information Systems to begin August 2022. This is a non-tenure track position. The appointment is initially limited to one-year, but renewal is anticipated. The successful candidate is expected to teach eight sections of four different courses per academic year (fall/spring). Service expectations include promotion of department programs and participation in department events. Service expectations constitute no more than 10% of the position’s duties.  

A Master’s degree in Information Systems or a related area is required, as well as the ability to teach in the area of introduction to information systems and at least three of the areas of database management, data center management, network administration, and IT resource management.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Information Systems or a related area are preferred. Candidates should be proficient in face-to-face and online teaching for undergraduate students.

The Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems is part of UNCW's Cameron School of Business and supports the Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Business Analytics, Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. At the graduate level, the School supports the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems, and Master of Science in Business Analytics.
