Title: Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Data Analytics at John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada
Position description

This is a tenure-track position in Data Analytics area at the rank of Assistant Professor. Duties include research, teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and service to the institution.

Qualifications and assets

Candidates must have completed their PhD or be near completion at the start date of the appointment. The main criteria for selection are scholarly and teaching excellence. The successful candidate will provide evidence of high-quality scholarly output that demonstrates potential for independent research leading to peer assessed publications and the securing of external research funding, as well as strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Department values diversity among its faculty and strongly encourages applications from women and members of underrepresented groups. The language of instruction at Concordia is English, but a working knowledge of French is an asset. 

Candidates are expected to teach in subjects such as use of Python, R, Matlab and SAS, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Text Mining, Social Media Analytics, forecasting and others. The selected candidate will be actively involved in curriculum development in Business Data Analytics area. Applicants are expected to do research in the areas of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other related areas.
