The Department of Management of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) has one opening for an indeterminate (tenure-track equivalent) full-time Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidate is expected to teach in Fall 2022 semester. The start date of July 4th 2022 is nonetheless flexible to accommodate personal and professional circumstances.

The required qualification is a PhD, DBA, or All-But-Dissertation (completion within one year from the date of hiring) from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in a field related to business administration / management.

This is a bilingual imperative position. RMC is seeking a candidate who is able to work in both Canadian official languages. Successful candidates will be expected to deliver courses in both English and French at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Management of Information System (MIS) or Information Technology (IT). Experience in teaching general management would be an asset. Applicants must provide evidence of a strong teaching portfolio and a commitment to excellence in pedagogy.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to contribute through service to the Department, the Faculty, the University, and the broader professional community. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a university environment is therefore essential.

Interested candidates should submit the following documents in PDF format in a single email to SSH-Prof at rmc.ca by 25 February 2022:

- Cover letter,
- Recent curriculum-vitae,
- Research portfolio (for example, recent publications in academic journals/working papers, conference proceedings),
- Teaching portfolio (for example, teaching philosophy, examples of course outlines or curriculum development),
- List of three references.

Please reference the RMC file number 162351 and your last name in the email correspondence subject line. Should you have any questions regarding this process, please contact Dr. Fahim Youssofzai (fahim.youssofzai at rmc.ca). Short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview. We thank all those who apply. Only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.

In accordance with the Public Service Employment Act, preference will be given to Canadian Armed Forces veterans and Canadian citizens. Candidates with foreign educational credentials are required to provide proof of Canadian equivalency. The Royal Military College of Canada promotes employment equity and encourages candidates to indicate voluntarily on their application if they are a woman, an Aboriginal person, a person with a disability or a member of a visible minority group.
