Position Description:
The Boston College Carroll School of Management is recruiting for a
non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of the Practice or a
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position in the Information Systems Department. In
exceptional cases, additional positions may be made available. The position
calls for a 3-3 teaching load, which may include both managerial classes
(e.g., Digital Technology, Managing Digital Innovation, Digital
Transformation) and technical classes (e.g., Web Application Development,
Data Management, Systems Analysis/Design, Data Visualization, Data
Analytics, AI and Machine Learning) at both the undergraduate and graduate
level. Candidates should thoroughly enjoy teaching and also be enthusiastic
about working with students outside the classroom setting (e.g., advising
students and clubs).

Qualifications:
We seek individuals who can complement and strengthen our existing group of
excellent instructors, while adding to the atmosphere of collegiality. We
offer a stimulating environment, an exceptional student body, an active and

communities. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Systems (or
related discipline) or significant industry experience, or both, and
evidence of teaching excellence at an accredited business school.
