The College of Business Administration at Central Michigan University is
accepting applications for a tenure-track (open rank) position in the area
of Information Systems to commence in August 2022. Primary responsibilities
include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, both online and
face-to-face, and conducting research in information systems.



A doctorate with a major or concentration in Information Systems/Computer
Science, or an ABD in Information Systems/Computer Science, will be
considered if it is clear the degree will be conferred by the time of
appointment; evidence of teaching effectiveness in Information Systems at
the college/university level; an active research agenda with evidence of,
or potential for, quality scholarly activity. Ability to perform the
essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.



Expertise and training in SAP are preferred, along with teaching and/or
leadership in enterprise resource planning (ERP) programs. Familiarity with
cybersecurity and/or data analytics is also desired.  Evidence of online
teaching experience and high-quality, student-centered interaction is
desired.



Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
