**Special Issue on IT-enabled Business Management and Decision Making in
(Post) Covid-19 Era*

In this special issue, we call for efforts from IS scholars on the
proper design, use, and management of IT in (post) COVID-19 era. While
it is still too early to term these as “lessons learned” – both due to
the fact that we are still in the recovery process and assessing change
often takes a longer time horizon – we welcome research that can provide
insights into both successful and unsuccessful attempts to innovate
using technology during (post) COVID-19 era. Connecting these efforts to
the future – i.e., how such innovations can provide new opportunities in
business and how these transform decision-making going forward, would be
especially interesting to explore, as these can open up potentially new
areas of research for our community. This SI call is open to researchers
using any methodology. We welcome research performed at an individual,
group, organizational, and societal level; and research using different
methods, such as qualitative, empirical, and design science. Together,
we can build a substantial body of knowledge, transforming the COVID-19
challenges into new opportunities in business.
